Lead PI, Scott Renneckar


Dr. Renneckar is a Canada Research Chair in Advanced Renewable Materials serving as an associate professor in the Department of Wood Science and appointed as an associate member in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of British Columbia. He studied polymer science applied to wood materials at Virginia Tech (BS and PhD), and UC Berkeley (MS). He has been a professor since 2005 and is passionate about utilizing modern era carbon to address the growing demand for consumable goods and products.
